The school district as a whole should be the administration of the software as to what the district is willing to invest in this technology. The investment may mean time and capital. The technology team at the school district should also be involved in the centralization of Moodle from a technological aspect because they know what they have for computer equipment, Internet connections and so forth. However, I do feel that once we get down to the educators level, it should be peer diffusion from this point forward. Experimentation by everyone is good and helps build a network of users working toward the critical mass. The key agents of change at this level should be the educator that is highly technologically literate and willing to share their knowledge with their peers. We have several educators in our school that fit this bill and use technology to help educate on a daily basis. These are Moodle’s agent of change because they are firm supporters of technology to help with the local adaption of this online learning tool. Moodle has reached the stage of critical mass in the form of online education. The software itself could use interactivity within the educational system. This would allow other educators to see the power the Moodle has to offer and educator and the ease of its use. References Rogers, E. M. (2003). Diffusion of innovations (5th ed).
